My name is Harriet Ng and I am the designer for charmchic.com. Jewellery making started as a hobby, which quickly turned into an obsession! I find jewellery making immensely interesting and enjoyable and a day doesn't pass without me thinking about the next piece of jewellery that I plan to make. My inspiration is drawn from almost everything around me, from nature and my travels to patterned wallpaper! I am continually searching for and trying out new techniques whilst trying to perfect and come up with new ways to use old ones.
All of my designs are carefully hand-crafted by me using materials sourced from around the world, including semi-precious gemstones, Swarovski crystal beads, sterling silver components and freshwater pearls. My aim is to create jewellery that is easy to wear and versatile, i.e. suitable for all occasions. Whether the occasion is a fancy party or a simple meal with friends. Many of my designs are limited to just a few pieces so you are not likely to see anyone else wearing the same design.
